Heritage Harbor Museum is bringing together Rhode Island communities and organizations to tell their stories. We are organizing creative collaborations to develop activities, events and exhibitions that will share those stories. From its inception, Heritage Harbor Museum has been a collaborative effort. To ensure that Rhode Island's diverse cultural and historical interests are represented in presenting Rhode Island's stories, Heritage Harbor Museum created a partnership of cultural and historical organizations that has actively participated in the development of its mission, goals and plans.

Heritage Harbor Museum will encourage collaborations among historical, cultural, arts and other groups to develop exhibitions that examine their common themes and experiences. By promoting and organizing collaborations, Heritage Harbor Museum will encourage efficient use of community resources, promote teamwork, and provide community organizations with the capacity to present programs and exhibitions.
